  The Iron Horse has been around since I was a kid. I was familiar with the Spokane restaurant, and only recently discovered that there was another one in CdA. My family and I decided to stop by for lunch and check it out.
  
  The staff was friendly, but overall the experience was not above average. The restaurant is very dated and the food wasn't anything special. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
  
  We did not go into the bar/lounge area, just the restaurant.

  Iron Horse is a great place for breakfast:-) You may find more gourmet food elsewhere, or get that classic diner feel down the street but for all around ambiance, good food and a great location, Iron Horse is my favorite Coeur d' Alene breakfast place! I can't wait till service is available on the sidewalk again:-)
